Last updated: 8/29/2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Whatstendee, a cloud-native SaaS CRM platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Platform Overview
Whatstendee is a WhatsApp-based CRM system designed to manage contacts, companies, events, and automated communications. The platform includes an administration panel, granular role and permission management, event management tools, analytics dashboards, and integrations with Meta's Business WhatsApp API and Stripe for subscription billing.
3. Account Registration and Access
To use the platform, you must register for an account. Organizations may create team accounts, assign roles (such as admin or manager), and manage access permissions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Meta Business Account OAuth 2.0 Integration
Whatstendee integrates with Meta's Business APIs through OAuth 2.0 authentication to access and manage your Meta Business Accounts, including WhatsApp Business accounts. By connecting your Meta Business Account, you grant us specific permissions to act on your behalf within the scope of our CRM and messaging services.
4.1 Authorization and Permissions
- You must have proper authorization to connect Meta Business Accounts to our platform
- We request only the minimum permissions necessary for our services to function, including business_management, whatsapp_business_management, and whatsapp_business_messaging permissions
- You can revoke access at any time through your Meta Business Manager settings
- Our access is limited to business assets and does not include personal social media content
4.2 Compliance and Review
- Our application undergoes Meta's App Review process and maintains Advanced Access status
- We comply with Meta's ongoing review requirements and platform policies
- We use Facebook Login for Business as our authentication method for business integrations
- All integrations are subject to Meta's Terms of Service and Platform Policies
4.3 Token Management
We securely store and manage access tokens provided through OAuth 2.0. Business Integration System User access tokens may be long-lived for automated functionality, while User access tokens are short-lived. We implement proper token security measures and renewal processes.
4.4 Managed Meta Accounts
Our platform supports both personal Facebook accounts and Managed Meta Accounts (work accounts). If your organization migrates to Managed Meta Accounts, you may need to re-authorize our application to maintain access to your business assets.
5. Subscription, Payments, and Billing
Access to Whatstendee is provided on a subscription basis. All payments and recurring subscriptions are securely processed through Stripe. Subscriptions are for access to the platform and its features only; event ticketing or attendee payments are not supported. Organizations can manage their subscription, payment methods, and billing details directly through the platform.
Subscription fees, plans, and features are subject to change. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.
6. Event and Contact Management
The platform enables management of contacts, companies, and events, including creation, editing, and organization of participant information. Administrators and managers can assign roles, manage permissions, and oversee all platform activities.
7. Messaging and WhatsApp Integration
Whatstendee integrates with Meta's Business WhatsApp API to enable automated messaging, event confirmations, reminders, and attendee engagement. All WhatsApp communications are processed in compliance with Meta's platform policies and WhatsApp Business API terms.
7.1 Message Processing and Storage
- We capture and store WhatsApp messages through webhook integration with Meta's API
- Message history is maintained for audit trail and customer support purposes
- Media files are securely stored using cloud storage services
- All message processing complies with Meta's data use policies
7.2 Attendance Confirmation Methods
Attendee confirmation can be performed via WhatsApp OTP, QR code scanning at events, location sharing, or manual confirmation by managers in the admin panel.
8. Analytics and Reporting
The platform provides analytics dashboards to track event attendance, user engagement, and messaging effectiveness. These tools are intended to help administrators make data-driven decisions and optimize platform usage.
9. Data Protection and Third-Party Services
Your use of our platform involves the processing of data through various third-party services, including Meta's APIs and cloud infrastructure providers. We ensure that all third-party integrations comply with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy.

In no event shall we or our suppliers be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business interruption.
We are not responsible for any disruptions caused by changes to Meta's APIs, policies, or platform availability. Third-party service interruptions may affect platform functionality.
11. Compliance with Platform Policies
